Introduced at the May 2017 IDEX exhibition, the Pars Scout 6x6 was developed to compete for the Turkish Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle (ÖMTTZ) project to acquire a locally made vehicle for reconnaissance and internal security. The Pars Scout builds on the Pars III 6x6 but introduces an enlarged cab to improve the situational awareness of the crew and a redesigned armoured body to facilitate the integration of modular armour. An 8x8 version of the Pars Scout is also being designed for the Turkish
Army.
