The Novator is a 4x4 armoured logistics vehicle built on a commercial Ford F-550 pickup truck chassis, developed for use by the Ukrainian National Guard as a light tactical vehicle. The armoured body can accommodate up to five fully equipped soldiers and carry a payload of up to 1,000 kg in the rear cargo bed. The use of a COTS chassis significantly reduces procurement cost and simplifies in-service maintenance, allowing the Ukrainian National Guard to field a protected light vehicle with an established parts and
service network rather than a purpose-built military platform.
