The Varta is a 4x4 mine-protected armoured personnel carrier (APC) developed and produced in Ukraine. Reflecting Ukrainian experiences with vulnerable legacy Soviet-era APCs, the Varta uses proven military components and features a V-shaped armoured hull to provide a greater level of protection for its occupants. First unveiled in 2016, it has since been procured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and export
