The BATT UMG is a mine-protected variant of the BATT armoured personnel carrier 4x4 multipurpose armoured vehicle, both developed by The Armored Group (TAG) using the Ford F-550 COTS pickup truck chassis. Unveiled at IDEX 2021, the BATT UMG features STANAG 4569 Level 2a/2b blast protection and can carry a payload of up to 1.6 tonnes in its rear cargo bed. Aimed at both military and law enforcement customers, the BATT UMG can be configured as an armoured personnel carrier, C2 centre, ambulance or VIP
transport.
