Sisu introduced the 4x4 GTP APC in April 2018 and is marketing the vehicle as a cost-effective replacement for the Pasi APC. Due to its modular construction, the baseline GTP chassis can be fitted with different types of armoured bodies to create an APC, reconnaissance vehicle or utility vehicle. Additional armour can also be attached to the vehicle to tailor its survivability to meet changing operational requirements. The first GTP prototype was delivered to the Finnish Army in April 2018 for testing. Sisu also
offered the GTP to meet a Latvian requirement for a mine resistant ambush protected-type vehicle, but the contract was terminated.
