The Jais 4x4 (then known as the RG35) was unveiled in September 2009 by BAE Systems Land Systems South Africa (LSSA). The Jais is part of a family of vehicles, with several variants available, including ambulance, weapon carrier and command post. All are available in either 4x4 or 6x6 configurations with over 90% commonality. Additionally, the Jais can carry light and medium
