The Currus is a 4x4 APC manufactured in the UAE. Based on the COTS Toyota Land Cruiser 79-Series chassis, it is intended to be compact and manoeuvrable enough to operate in urban areas, while still maintaining a high degree of mobility over rough terrain. In its standard APC configuration, the Currus features an armoured body with sufficient room for two crew and eight passengers, although it can also be outfitted for other roles such as a police patrol
vehicle.
