The BMPT-72 Fire Support Combat Vehicle is a development of the original BMPT vehicle intended for export customers which operate the T-72 MBT. It is an upgrade package which mounts the BMPT turret on a customer’s existing T-72 chassis, rather than a new-build vehicle. UVZ unveiled the BMPT-72 Terminator 2 at the September 2013 Russian Arms
Expo.
