GDLS MPF Prototype

General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is one of two companies that has been downselected to produce 12 prototype light tanks for the US Army’s Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) programme. Photographs of the GDLS prototype emerged in April 2020, but few technical details have been disclosed. It appears to be based upon a similar hull design as used for the ASCOD, Ajax and Griffin III platforms and can be armed with either a 105mm or 120mm main gun.
