Unmanned platforms
The Expeditionary Modular Autonomous Vehicle (EMAV) was originally developed by Pratt & Miller Engineering in response to a US Army requirement for a UGV that could support infantry platoons at the tactical level. It consists of a tracked 3.84x1.5m² flat platform that can accommodate supplies, stretchers, a remote weapon station, sensors and other military equipment. Capable of operating fully autonomously, it can travel across preprogrammed routes to support infantry in the field or carry out predefined surveillance
or patrol missions.
