The Titus UGV was unveiled in August 2011 and is designed as a modular system with articulated flippers, forward and rear, and a simple robotic arm. Northrop Grumman announced plans for a smaller UGV in April 2011 before unveiling the Titus a few months later, with production launched in May 2013. It is tracked and wheeled, allowing for all-terrain capability and speed. The platform’s primary roles are EOD and
reconnaissance.
