The PIAP Gryf is a lightweight UGV designed for reconnaissance, EOD/IED detection, neutralisation and bomb disposal in places that are difficult to access. It was first displayed at Eurosatory in June 2012 and is a larger version of the company’s Scout platform. Powered by a hybrid drive system, it can move on any surface, in rough terrain and in buildings (including moving up and down the staircases). The robot has been equipped with IR cameras for day/night use, a high-resolution camera with a 33x optical zoom

and a gripper camera to facilitate picking up hazardous materials. The robot is remotely controlled via an ergonomic control panel.
