The Switchblade 600 is a man-portable tube-launched loitering munition manufactured by AeroVironment. Compared to its smaller Switchblade 300 sibling, the 600 is heavier, has quadruple the range, and can engage non-LoS armoured targets. On 31 March 2021, the United States Special Operations Command awarded AeroVironment a $26 million contract for an undisclosed number of Switchblade 600 units. On 28 September 2021, USSOCOM awarded a second contract worth $20.32 million for an additional batch of Switchblade 600
units. The deliveries of both batches are scheduled to be delivered before the end of 2023.
