The Skeldar V-200B, an improved variant of the Skeldar V-200 VTOL UAV, has been designed for maritime applications. Unveiled in 2018 by UMS Skeldar, the V-200B has a larger payload capacity and increased reliability over its predecessor. The German Navy signed a contract on 3 August 2018 to become the launch customer for the system. In April 2021, it purchased three additional systems to use on its K130 corvettes for a reported €70 million ($84 million). On 8 November 2021, UMS Skeldar announced that ESG

Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH had completed the programme. In the German Navy, the platform is designated the Sea Falcon.
