The Teal Golden Eagle is a small quadrotor UAV designed for rapid deployment at platoon level with a range exceeding three kilometres, unveiled in August 2020. The platform targets the same operational space as commercially available quadrotors but is designed and manufactured in the United States with US proprietary rights, addressing military procurement requirements for domestic supply chain assurance. The Golden Eagle's combination of platoon-level portability, extended range, and US-origin design makes it
suited to Army and Marine Corps organic reconnaissance requirements where commercial UAS cannot be fielded due to procurement restrictions.
