Manufactured by Steadicopter, the Black Eagle 50 family are rotary-wing VTOL UAVs designed to provide ISR capabilities to maritime and land operators. The platform comes in three variants, featuring three different powerplants: the gaso-line-powered Black Eagle 50, the electric-powered Black Eagle 50E and the hybrid Black Eagle 50H. For military applications, the Black Eagle 50 family supports a variety of interchangeable payloads comprising EO/IR, synthetic aperture radar and other intelligence-gathering sensors
