The Ninox 40 is the smallest and lightest member of the Ninox family of encapsulated immediate-action UAVs, which also features the Ninox 66 and Ninox 130 (see separate entries). Manufactured by SpearUAV, the platform is ISTAR capable micro-UAV for tactical and micro-tactical ground units. Uniquely, the encapsulated drone can be launched from a 40mm grenade launcher, a handheld launcher tube or like a conventional UAV. India, Israel and the US are all interested in the Ninox
