Region
United States
Category
Unmanned platforms
The SA-400 Jackal is a heavy-payload-capability, long-endur-ance VTOL UAS that had its first flight in 2013. It is an optionally piloted vehicle, so it can be used before Federal Aviation Administration UAS regulations on airspace integration are introduced. In October 2014, it was announced that Scion UAS had completed a series of capability demonstrations of the SA-400 Jackal, which successfully concluded the flight test programme for the
aircraft.
