Unmanned platforms
The NES&TEC Aris Beetle-Octo is an eight-rotor electric unmanned aircraft designed for high stability in winds of up to 10 m/s, primarily intended for commercial and civil applications but also suitable for military reconnaissance tasks. The octorotor configuration provides redundancy — the platform can continue to fly safely if one or more motors fail. The Beetle-Octo's motor redundancy and wind tolerance make it well-suited to persistent surveillance operations in coastal, offshore, and elevated terrain
environments where gusting conditions would ground less robust multi-rotor platforms.
