Zhongtian Feilong announced on 1 April 2021 that its as yet unmanned MALE UAV had conducted a test flight in March 2021. During this flight, the unmanned airborne swarm system, as Zhongitan Feilong referred to it, performed a vertical take-off before launching smaller UAVs from under its fuselage mid-flight. The platform, which is essentially an aircraft carrier for UAVs, is set to increase in size throughout
development.
