The Viper 1000C is a fixed-wing MALE UAS. Designed to carry EO/IR sensors over vast distances, it can be employed in a wide variety of civil and military roles, including border patrol, infrastructure monitoring and mapping. In order to avoid accumulating the SATCOM C2 costs associated with long-range beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLoS) automatic flight, as well as to circumvent airspace restrictions placed on unmanned vehicles, it is possible to manually pilot the
