V-Bat 118

Region
United States
Category
Unmanned platforms
Originally manufactured by Martin UAV, a company now owned by Shield AI, the V-Bat is a VTOL rotary platform that rotates and operates as a fixed-wing aircraft when airborne. The platform was later dubbed the V-Bat 118 after the introduction of the V-Bat 128. The platform has a near-zero footprint and, due to its highly customisable nature, can host various payloads that allow it to conduct a range of missions. The UAV is involved in the Polish Navy’s Albatros programme and the US Army’s Future Tactical UAS
programme.
