Developed by Thailand’s RV Connex, the Sky Scout is an ISTAR capable UAS that has a range of 80km, an endurance of 6+ hours, a cruise speed of 120km/h and a service ceiling of 10,000ft. 90% of its parts have been produced domestically, aside from its engine, payload and communications suite. In November 2016, the Royal Thailand Air Force (RTAF) contracted 20 units which were mostly delivered by November 2019. These fly under an RTAF U1
designation.
