The Q-01 is an optionally piloted MALE UAS developed by Reiner Stemme to meet the requirements of the Qatar Armed Forces (QAF). The development programme started in 2014, and the Q-01 prototype recorded its maiden flight in November 2015. In 2016, Qatar signed a $100 million contract to acquire 17 Q-01s from Germany, but it is not clear whether the aircraft were ever delivered as Reiner Stemme went into liquidation on 1 July 2018. The system is powered by two turbocharger Techni-fy/Continental internal combustion

engines producing 310hp of thrust.
