MISSION The HE PFF F4 round is optimised for airdefense, including against sea-skimmer antishipmissiles. This round can be used with theautomatic guns of the Model 53 mounts andderivatives as well as with that of the 100mmCOMPACT Mk 2 mounts. DESCRIPTION The 100 mm Pre Formed Fragment cartridge isdelivered and stored without fuze (the fuze isa separate supply) in an individual aluminiumwaterproof container and consists of: P a 100 HE PFF F4 shell filled with explosive, P a Mod 1953 100mm steel case, P a Mod 1961
