MISSION For use in the BMP 2 vehicles equipped with the 30mm 2A42 cannons. This cartridge is designed to defeat light and medium armored vehicles. DESCRIPTION This cartridge is an Armour Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot with Tracer (APFSDS-T) type. It consists of a subcaliber fin stabilized tungsten alloy projectile launched by means of a lightweight sabot. Penetration, at any given range, and conversely range for any given penetration, is greatly enhanced compared to older generation of APDS or AP
