MISSION For use with low, medium and high pressure81mm mortars (M1, M29/M29A1, M252/L16A1 and equivalents), to produce blastand fragmentation effects when used againststructures, material targets and personnel. DESCRIPTION The round consists of a high fragmentationnodular cast iron bomb body with a plasticobturator, a nose fuze and an aluminium tailassembly. The body is loaded with Composition B explosive. The tail assembly is ﬁtted with theignition cartridge and the “horseshoe” type charge increments (2 for low
