Description This is the Americanised version of the M82 , which consists of switching from a cast to a forged steel body and utilising standard American components (fin, propulsion and ignition systems and packaging) to increase commonality. The complete round consists of a fuze, four increment charges, fin assembly, ignition cartridge, and shell body. The shell body, made of forged steel material, is
loaded with a Composition B (RDX/TNT) filler. The ignition cartridge has a percussion primer and is assembled to the end of the fin assembly. The propellant charge is contained in four horseshoe felt-fibre containers and assembled around the fin assembly shaft.
