It differs from the Spanish round as it is smaller and uses a unique cartridge case, which may have been developed from tooling used for the 7.65 mm Parabellum cartridge.</p><h2>Description</h2><p>This round uses a short-necked, rimless cartridge case, specially developed for the design and not cut down from any existing case. It carries a rifle-type tracer bullet with a very long, tapering ogive. The exposed portion of the bullet is only slightly shorter than the cartridge case.
