Description This uses the same tubular aluminium body as the Red Phosphorus (RP) smoke bombs, but has the ogive pinned in place and carries a time fuze in the nose. Inside the body is the usual flare container and parachute. At the set time the fuze ignites the flare and fires an expelling charge which removes the ogive and allows the parachute and flare to be ejected. Manufacturer
