Naval Group (formerly DCNS) unveiled the concept for its BRAVE (Fleet Supply Ship) support vessel at Euronaval 2010, and since then has refined the design in cooperation with shipbuilder STX France. The multipurpose design is intended to undertake missions currently performed by up to three types of French Navy ships. These include the replenishment of dry goods underway, munitions and fuels along with at-sea maintenance and

repairs.
