Six Sukanya-class patrol boats are in service with the Indian Navy and one with Sri Lanka. The first three were manufactured by Korea Tacoma in Masan – a company eventually purchased by Sungdong Shipbuilding from the Hanjin Group – and the final four at the Hindustan Ship Yard. The first ship was launched in 1989, and the last was commissioned in
