The Australian Border Force’s Bay-class patrol boats have been retired from Australian service but are in use with Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The primary roles of the boats are border protection and monitoring EEZ, but they have also operated with defence and law enforcement agencies. Two boats have been donated to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency and two to the Sri Lankan Navy. Yemen operates a modified version of the
boats.
