The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) took possession of a single Marsun M58 OPV in 2016, but under the country’s defence plans, it is looking to purchase another three of the class. The ships were provided as kits, without weapons, to the RTN-owned Thonburi Naval Dockyard, where assembly occurred as part of an effort by the government to increase local manufacturing
capability.
