Turkish Shipbuilding company ASFAT is building two Hisar-class OPVs for the Turkish Navy. The OPV comes in both a baseline design and a convertible variant, which was showcased at the IDEF 2021 event. The two on order are expected to be the baseline variant, but the Turkish Navy envisions acquiring up to ten OPVs. The 108m convertible variant OPV features extensive role equipment capable of carrying out duty with little weaponry in peacetime but can be rapidly outfitted with sensors and weapons in times of
conflict.
