The Indonesia Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) have ordered two new mine countermeasures vessels (MCMVs) from German shipbuilder Abeking & Rasmussen. A contract was signed in January 2019 and will see the German company design and built two MCMVs based on the Frankethal class but will include a modern minehunting sonar and uncrewed vehicles.
