Ivan Gren Class (Project 11711)

The Ivan Gren-class (Project 11711) landing ships have been designed for the Russian Navy to undertake landing operations on hostile territory and conduct hardware and equipment transportation. They are also capable of undertaking humanitarian operations. Two ships of this type have been built by Yantar Shipyard, with the first entering service in June 2018 and the second in December 2020. The ships are an evolution of the Project 1171 class, while two modified variants are also being
built.
