Project 22350M is under development as a heavy class of frigates that borders the weight range of destroyers. Also designated the Gorshkov class, Project 22350M will have a displacement of between 7,000t and 8,000t as opposed to the Project 22350 frigates’ 5,400t. It will also have far more firepower, reportedly deploying 120 vertical launch cells.
