The Bangladesh Navy (BN) planned to acquire a class of eight Durjoy-class guided-missile large patrol craft (LPC). Two variants of the vessel have been built: an ASW variant and an ASuW variant. The ships have been built by China’s Wuchang Shipyard and Bangladesh’s Khulna Shipyard under a transfer of technology agreement from China. The first ship entered service in 2013, and the fourth in 2017. As of 2020, no additional orders have been made, leaving the class at four
ships.
