The Shaldag Mk II is a variant of the Shaldag-class fast patrol boats (FPBs) built by Israel Shipyards and first launched in 1989 as a multi-mission vessel designed to serve as both a naval and border police vessel. The Mk II variant is primarily aimed at coastal protection and rivers. The Shaldag-class FPBs are believed to be in service with the Cypriot, Equatorial Guinean, Israeli, Nigerian, Senegalese and Sri Lankan forces. Three variants of the class have been
