The Hetz-class fast attack craft is an improved version of the Reshef (Sa’ar 4). The first two Hetz ships, INS Romat and INS Keshet, were commissioned in 1981 and 1982, before the programme was paused and reinstated with improved weapons in 1990 when another six of the class were built. Two of the ships are now in service with the Mexican
Navy.
