The Steregushchiy-class corvettes, also known as Project 20380 and 20381, are multirole vessels designed by Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau for the Russian Navy. Built to replace the Grisha-class corvettes, the ships are for operations including coastal patrol, escort and ASW. The Russian Navy has a demand for around 30 new fleet ships, with the first Steregushchiy-class corvette commissioned in November 2007. An export variant of the class is known as the Tigr class (Project
20382).
