The RPG-29 (NATO designation Vampir) is a shoulder-fired rocket launcher introduced into Soviet Army service in 1989. The PG-29V tandem-charge warhead is claimed to defeat both ERA and the composite armour typical of modern main battle tanks. The launcher breaks into two sections for carriage and a second crew member carries ammunition. The system can be assembled ready for firing in 35s. A folding bipod is fitted on the rear section for use in the prone
position.
