Rafael developed the Simon rifle grenade to be fired from an M4 carbine and other 5.56mm weapons, to breach doors with no risk to the operator. The Simon consists of a bullet-trap tail section that slides over the rifle’s muzzle, an explosive mid-section and a stand-off rod at the front.
