Nammo produces the M72 Light Antitank Weapon (LAW) series for US military and FMS customers. The USN began fielding the improved M72A7 in 1999. The M72A7 offers better reliability and an insensitive munition warhead. It features a higher-velocity rocket motor and a more effective warhead than earlier models of M72. According to Nammo, it defeats light armour and retains a moderate capability against main battle tanks when engaged from top, side and rear

angles.
