Russia
Category

The 30mm AGS-30 AGL was developed as a replacement for the 1960s-vin-tage AGS-17 and entered Russian Army service in the mid-1990s. Although based on the earlier design, the AGS-30 is about 50% lighter and provides longer range, an increased rate of fire and better accuracy. The lower weight means that the launcher with the mount can be carried by one soldier with a second to carry the
ammunition.
