The IWI 40 Stand-Alone Grenade Launcher is a single-shot 40x46mm grenade launcher ergonomically designed, available in two barrel lengths and compat-ible with low- and medium-velocity rounds. It is able to use various lengths of ammunition due to its forward- and side-opening barrel system. The forward movement allows a simple extraction and injection of the grenade and the side-opening enables the use of long grenades. It has upper and lower Picatinny rails. When the buttstock is removed from the IWI Stand-Alone
Grenade Launcher, it can be attached to the lower Picatinny rail of a rifle as an Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher.
