The M320 Grenade Launcher Module (GLM) is a further development of the HK AG36 (see separate entry) to meet a US Army requirement. The M320 entered production in 2008 to replace the M203, and the US Army plans to continue production until FY2019. The M320 is mounted on M16-series rifles, while the M320A1 mounts on M4-series
carbines.
