KAC announced at the January 2016 SHOT Show that the 5.56mm Stoner light machine gun (LMG) is ready for production. It describes the weapon as the ‘world’s most lightweight, simple, versatile and controllable light machine gun’. The Stoner LMG has a hybrid modular fore-end and an underslung mounting slot for 5.56mm belted ammunition containers.
