After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Azerbaijan designed the Yalguzag sniper rifle to replace the Soviet-era weapons with a new 7.62mm NATO caliber sniper rifle. The rifle is equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 rail on the receiver, along with additional rails on both sides of the firearm. Additionally, a short rail is present at the six o'clock position to accommodate the
bipod.
